Indigenous knowledge holders in communities such as Fort Good Hope and Tuktoyaktuk document changes in caribou migration and river ice thickness that differ from southern modeling outputs, yet lack standardized data platforms to integrate these observations into territorial reporting.
This funding supports organizations with established climate programs that seek to expand current monitoring and adaptation activities. Applicants must hold active agreements with at least one Indigenous government and provide baseline data from the preceding two field seasons.
